Dear Parent/Guardian,
Welcome to the Breakers Labs De Jong 12U Season. This program prioritizes player development, accountability, and competitive growth. Your support is essential in creating a positive, respectful environment for all players. Please review the expectations below.
By agreeing to this Code of Conduct, you acknowledge the following:
- The primary goal of this program is the development of your daughter’s skills, confidence, and character, not winning every game.
- Unexcused absences from practices or games may affect your daughter’s playing time. You will ensure your daughter arrives on time and will communicate in advance if she cannot attend.
- You will support the development of the entire team, not just your own child.
- Parents may approach coaches for general or logistical questions only. You will not approach
coaches or coaches’ spouses during practices, warm-ups, or games to discuss playing time,
positions, roles, or coaching decisions.
- These conversations will take place in private, after a 24-hour cooling-off period, at a mutually agreed-upon time.
- Failure to follow this policy may result in suspension from team events.
- You will demonstrate positive and respectful behavior at all times. Negative, abusive, disruptive behavior, profanity, bullying, or violence toward players, coaches, umpires, event staff, or other families will not be tolerated.
- You will positively cheer on your daughter but not coach her during practices and games.
- You will allow coaches to do their job and will not interfere with coaching decisions.
- You will not coach or instruct your daughter during games. This includes talking to her from behind the dugout, in the on-deck circle, during at-bats, or while she is on the field.
- Monthly dues are due by the 1st of each month.
By continuing as part of the Breakers Labs De Jong 12U team, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to follow this Code of Conduct. Failure to comply with these expectations may result in reduced playing time for your daughter and/or removal from events, suspension, or removal from the team.
